Darren La’ Marr Frazier is a native of Saint Louis, Missouri and a bonafide “church boy.” Frazier
was born to the late Lynn Sanders and Elder Michael T. Robinson. It was as a child that his parents knew that there was something different about their baby boy. Darren was baptized at the age of 5 by the late Reverend Rosevelt Boyce and the Northern Missionary Baptist Church were he remained an active member until the age of 18 years old. Elder Robinson, a phenomenal pianist, was Darren’s personal musician. His “Granny” Ossie L. Glasper was his first “acting” Booking Manager. Frazier will tell you that it was his grandmother that was a major key to him being who he is today. The three of them would ride from church to church, Sunday after Sunday, year after year: beginning at the age of 5 years old. Darren would stand on a box before congregations of several strangers and would sing a song entitled “If AnybodyAsk You Who I Am” and would own the crowd. As the years went on, Frazier evolved from singing to playing preacher in his home. Darren preached his first sermon on November 16, 2006 at the Victory in Praise Tabernacle. Lynn, Darren’s mother, spoke before his first sermon saying, “Darren would line stuffed animals up as the “church”, put his choir robe on, and begin to preach to the animals. To me and my family this is no shock, we knew there was a preacher on the inside of him”. This was a start to his future.
This is shortly after Darren graduated from the Allied Medical College with an associates degree in Medical Assisting. Knowing that this was a field to help others he had a pull on his life to do more. When Darren was 18 years old he walked into Ted Foster and Sons White House Chapel and told Mr. Foster “This is What I want to do”. From that day Darren began laying the path for the rest of his life. Darre has been in the funeral industry since the age of 18 and is still there. He Direct funerals, Preach them, Arrange them, and much more.
It was in 2008 that Darren would sit at the planning table with Bishop Michael L. Robinson as he built the foundation of the dEstiny Family Church. In the midst of Bishop Robinsons building, he was also planting into the life of Frazier. One of the things that Frazier learned along the way was the art of serving.
Darren went through many ups and downs, but God held him through it all. There were people who walked in and out of Fraziers life, but God never left his side. In the year of 2015, Darren came back home. Because of the seed that was planted by Bishop Michael L. Robinson, Darren officially became a member of the dEstiny Family Church. The right hand man to the Bishop was who he was.
In 2006-2008 Darren was the assistant to the pastor of Healing Waters Christian Church in the Grace of Apostle Kimberly Ann Applewhite. He served here until he was called to the Corp of Adjutancy, and served the Apostle Michael Lampkin as his head Adjutant
The Year of 2019 was a year of roller coasters for Darren. In August of 2021 Darren lost his Mother Lynn This was devastating for him and his entire family however he turned this misery to motivation. Darren has dedicated his ministry to the memory of his mother. In December 2019 Darren received his official ordination and elevation as an Elder in the Lord's Church, under the Destiny Fellowship of Churches.
In the midst of the Covid 19 Pandemic Darren sat and watched hours and hours of YouTube “how to” videos on how to run the Media Ministry for dEstiny Family Church. During the pandemic God gave Bishop Robinson the vision to modernize the name of the church. In March of 2021 during the Church Anniversary we became the Hope Nation International Church. I am the second in “command” for Bishop Michael Robinson. In March of 2022 I received the appointment of Apostolic Adjutant to the Bishop. I serve as the Music Director of the New Life Fellowship Conference, an ecumenical fellowship for pastors of different denominations led by Archbishop Steven G Thompson.
Today, Darren L. Frazier is the proud Husband of Lady Monet N.Frazier who he states: supports him, prays for him, loves him, and uplifts him. Darren is a proud father of 7 Children Joshua, Jaidyn, DeFaunte, Darren Jr., Amiyah, Dacarri, and Amaura.
Darren wanted to make sure that readers understood that he could not get to this place alone, therefore he wanted to thank: Lady Monet Frazier, Apostle Michael Lampkin, Apostle Kimberly Applewhite, Elder Michael T. Robinson, Pastor Donnell Bell, Sr., and, last but not least, the man who saw the vision, verified the calling, and pushed him into the place God has before him, Bishop Dr. Michael L. Robinson.
Dedicated to: Ossie L. Glasper, Lynn Sanders, and Rhonda Bell.
